When it comes to movies, if I loved it, I'll rewatch it. A Few Good Men, Casino, Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, The Devil Wears Prada, Out of Africa...OK, anything with Meryl Streep.
I don’t reread often, but a year or two ago I decided to reread Station Eleven, Commonwealth, and Bel Canto. For my second reading of each, I went with a different format than how I originally read them. I was so nervous they weren’t going to hold up, but I loved every one of them just as much the second time! This summer, I’m planning on doing the same with This is How You Lose the Time War. I’m not much of a movie watcher, but the movies I will consistently watch any time I see them, are The Godfather, Clue, Clueless, and Tombstone.
Rewatch: Thanksgiving-Planes Trains &… Christmas Story, reread A Christmas Carol , 45 Years staring Charlotte Rampling & Sir Thomas Courtenay, You e Got Mail, Got Mail and most of Dame Maggie Smith’s, Gilmore Girls, Vera.
I reread A Christmas Carol every couple of years, too. And, as a family we go see the Christmas Eve showing of It’s a Wonderful Life every single year. Might be a perfect movie and we love it so much.
We rewatch The Princess Bride constantly. It's been a touchscreen in my relationship with my husband (our best man quoted it before the wedding started), and once our children were old enough it became a family favorite. A re-watch of the Dr Who episode "Blink" has become our Christmas Eve tradition with my parents. I love re-reading my childhood favorites: all the Avonlea books, Little Women, Narnia. And favorite Romance or fantasy books are especially helpful when I'm sick or in a reading slump.
Oh, we love rewatching The Princess Bride here too! If you ever get a chance to see it in the theater, take the whole family! (https://www.flashbackcinema.net)
Yes! That is one of my favorite tips for getting out of a reading slump — REREAD A FAVORITE! One hundred percent.

Do you know, I've never seen Casino?!
I’m sorry, WHAT?!!
😂
I can’t explain this wacky list, but my rewatches are Dirty Dancing, Independence Day, and Starship Troopers.
The wackier the list, the more I can relate to it! Dirty Dancing was on repeat in my house for a time, pausing to rewind the VHS tape. 😆

I’m your huckleberry and I fully support all these rewatches.
Touché! 😂
